About the Workshop
The whole purpose of the Science of Mind is to reconcile the apparent separation of the spiritual world, which must be Perfect, with the material world, which appears imperfect.
Dr. Ernest Holmes
If you are someone who has been challenged in attempting to reconcile the idea that God is all there is while observing situations and people that seem anything but; if you struggle with the ideas of limitation in an abundant Universe, suffering in a compassionate Universe, and evil in a Universe of Good, this workshop is for you.
In this course, we are going to engage with that “which appears imperfect.” We’ll look at how it shows up in the world and the manner in which the world serves as a mirror of that which we have yet to acknowledge within ourself. We will peek into the darkness…into the shadow.
Filling the conscious mind with ideal conceptions is a characteristic of Western theosophy, but not the confrontation with the shadow and the world of darkness. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.
In having the courage to acknowledge, integrate, and even embrace the shadow, we will find gold; we will find gifts; and we will deepen in our understanding—and experience—of what it means to be whole.
