Connect With Us

Prayer & Care Ministry

The Prayer and Care Ministry is home to numerous support and educational programs including prayer support, hospital visits, memorial service planning, bereavement support and workshops, spiritual guidance sessions and ministry to our beloved animal companions.

We are here to support you in times of need, and we are also available to help you empower your dreams. Our Prayer and Care Ministry team is always available to meet with members of our community to discuss referral and support options that are available.

Prayer Support

We are here to support you through prayer in times of need and/or grief. You can also contact us for prayer or to give thanks when your life is running smoothly and at optimal speed.

Prayer is the foundation of our spiritual practice at Mile Hi Church, and you have access to it 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

There are several ways to receive prayer support:

  • Fill out a prayer request in the Sanctuary during Sunday services.
  • Visit the Prayer & Care Center in person to pray with a practitioner on Sunday or during the listed hours of operation.
  • Access online prayer support by clicking here

Congregational Care

The Prayer and Care Center offers congregational care by making hospital and hospice visits. For more information about these specific programs call our Care Ministries team.

Practitioner Prayer Partners/Spiritual Guidance Sessions

A Religious Science Practitioner is trained in the use of Science of Mind and Spirit principles and Spiritual Mind Treatment (our form of affirmative prayer).

A practitioner guides you through taking charge of your life through effective thinking and spiritual understanding. Providing a supportive atmosphere, the practitioner assists you in exploring your own power and potential. The relationship between you and your practitioner is one of professional confidentiality.

A Little Help

A Little Help is a nonprofit organization that Mile Hi Church has partnered with to bring its services to Jefferson County.   A Little Help connects neighbors to help seniors thrive. A Little Help fosters community by connecting our elders with services and resources as they navigate the unknowns of aging and build meaningful connections with neighbors of all ages.

A Little Help connects senior members with a variety of services such as transportation, yard work, and minor home repair by coordinating volunteering neighbors or vetted service providers, while creating opportunities for intergenerational connection and community engagement. The organization grew from a neighborhood in Wash Park, to now covering many neighborhoods in Denver, as well as new growth in Jefferson County.

If you are interested in services, volunteering, social connections or other support of the organization, please contact 720-242-9032.

A Little Help is thrilled to be nominated and chosen this month for Colorado’s Own Channel 2 and McDivitt Law Firm's donation of $500 as part of Connecting 2 Colorado. Twice each month, McDivitt Law Firm makes a $500 donation to a deserving non-profit organization as part of Connecting 2 Colorado and this month we share that honor with The Right Step.

Tonight, at our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic, Channel 2 will be in attendance to chat with some of our members and volunteers, AND A Little Help will be profiled on Channel 2 news on Friday, September 22nd.

Be sure to tune in!
