2026 Community Connects Service Fair
hosted by Mile Hi Church and Make-A-Difference

Discover meaningful ways to make a difference in our community! Join us for the Community Connects Service Fair, where you’ll meet more than a dozen local nonprofit organizations, learn about their missions, and explore volunteer opportunities that match your interests and passions.

Then, roll up your sleeves and participate in hands-on service projects for all ages. Create origami peace cranes for Habitat for Humanity, crochet soap saver bags for local food banks and people experiencing homelessness, help make fleece scarves for those in need, or build and paint birdhouses. You’ll also find opportunities to sort donated items for local nonprofits.

Most supplies will be provided. If you’d like to crochet, please bring a size H/8 or I/9 crochet hook and 4-ply cotton yarn, though a limited number of hooks and yarn will be available.

Whether you have five minutes or the whole morning, there’s a place for everyone to serve, connect, and make a lasting impact.
