ABOUT THE CLASS
The focus will be on a variety of teachers of the spiritual philosophy of nonviolence.
Teachers include Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Jesus of Nazareth, Henry David Thoreau, Leo Tolstoy, Howard Thurman, and others.
In this class, we will explore:
- How the spirituality and history of nonviolence correspond with our own New Thought history and spiritual teachings
- How striving toward freedom for all people and the spiritual philosophy of freedom is a vital part of Science of Mind and Spirit
- How the teachings of these great wisdom pioneers can be applied to the social challenges that confront us today
