ABOUT THE ONLINE EVENT
Sister Joan Chittister—an inspiring force of nature for social change and passionate advocate of personal faith and spiritual fulfillment—draws on the wisdom of prophets, both ancient and modern, to help us confront the societal forces that oppress and silence the Sacred voices among us.
For over 40 years, she has dedicated herself to advocating for universal recognition of the critical questions impacting the global community. Pairing scriptural insights with narratives of the truth-tellers that came before us, Sister Joan offers a compelling vision to combat complacency and to propel ourselves toward creating more justice, freedom, peace, and empowerment.
At this inspiring event at Mile Hi Church, Sister Joan draws on the wisdom of prophets, both ancient and modern, which will help us confront the societal forces that oppress and silence the Sacred voices among us.
Courageous and passionate, her energizing message invites us to participate in a vision for a world greater than the one we find ourselves in today. This is spirituality in action—practical and powerful activism for our times.
