ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Explore practicing a compassionate, loving, and accepting relationship with yourself.

Discover techniques to be mindfully aware of your inner voice. Experience what it feels like to replace negativity and criticism with kindness.

You will learn to:

  • tame your inner critic
  • replace self-criticism with self-acceptance
  • support your body’s healing capacity with kindness
  • open your heart to greater compassion for others

Practices and techniques include mindfulness, chi gong, journaling, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping, prayer, and more ways to practice self-compassion.

Lectures, videos, a self-compassion assessment, small group sessions, and exercises will be provided to help practice these new skills in class and at home.
