Socks are the #1 clothing need of the unhoused.

Socks are something that most of us never have to think twice about. When you get dressed, you open your drawer and pull out your most comfy, warmest, or your favorite colored socks.

But for those who don’t have a home, it often means walking up to 10 miles each day to find basic necessities, while wearing shoes that are not the correct size and socks that are worn out, dirty, and stiff. There is nowhere to wash socks, so after a few days, the socks are worn through and must be thrown away.

We are requesting new warm socks for men, women, and children. Please drop the socks off at the bins at either end of the Sanctuary lobby for collection.
