Words That Heal
Stories of Identity
Hosted by Diversity & Belonging
Sun., May 4, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.,
Vogt Auditorium, Suggested Love Offering $15-25
Experience an afternoon of empowerment, inspiration, and celebration with five diverse poets sharing their stories of identity and the grace of healing.
The presentation shows a progression—an arc from the pain of identity, building to breakthrough, to celebration, and the joy of being real and being heard. Instead of a single story, spoken and sung performances by the artists provide a diverse lens to see the world and be transported into their worlds.
There will be time for reflection and to speak about what resonates. We’ll create a web of oneness and a sense that we are all in this together.
